HIFU (High Intensity Frequency Ultrasound) is the latest development in non-surgical skin treatment. It uses the newest technology that penetrates that skin deeper using ultrasound beams, reducing fat, tightening skin and stimulating new collagen.
How does HIFU work?
HIFU uses highly focused acoustic energy to create thermal coagulation zones. The body’s natural wound healing response results in the formation of new collagen thus providing long term tightening and strengthening of the skin.
Our 4D HIFU face and neck lift will go 4.5mm below the skin’s surface which goes beyond the dermis into the subcutaneous tissue to tighten the superficial muscle layer (SMAS) where the skin starts to weaken. Immediately after the 4.5mm beam, we then use a 3mm which targets the dermis layers to stimulate new collagen growth. HIFU targets 3 different depths in the skin layers, using up to 600 pulses for the full face & neck.
With our unique 4D HIFU, we can also go around the eyes and mouth to help fine lines and lifting of the eyes with no downtime or discomfort.
The treatment normally takes one hour and a half. On the day of your treatment, we will take a before photo and another photo 6 to 8 weeks after the treatment to see your progress. You will also receive a Free Skin Analysis to guide you with the right skincare to maintain the effects.
Is a HIFU facelift painful?
Some patients may experience some discomfort and feel a slight tingling sensation during the treatment. After the treatment, you will also experience some swelling and redness. This will last for a few days.
How many HIFU facelift sessions will I need?

Does it require any downtime?
After the treatment, patients will experience some slight swelling and redness. However, we do not expect this to hinder you from proceeding with your daily activities.

Is a HIFU facelift safe?
Yes, HIFU facelifts are safe, especially if they’re done by trained professionals. Unlike cosmetic surgery, patients will not have to go under the knife. After the treatment, patients are not required to take time off work and will not see any scarring.
What to Expect After Treatment
Immediately after the treatment, you’ll notice your skin is plump and firmer. There is no downtime to worry about. Over the next 6-12 weeks, you will continue to see a dramatic improvement in facial contouring and a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
Maintenance Treatments
Our recommendation for long-lasting results is two treatments in the first year, 6 months apart then one treatment every year after that as maintenance.
For more fatty areas like a “double chin”, you may need a few extra treatments around 3 months after the initial treatment.
