Does the treatment hurt?
The 40min treatment begins with a deep double cleanse using Dr. Esthé's milk and gel cleansers, packed with skin-loving botanicals, probiotics, ceramides and minerals to purify and prep the skin.
The microscopic European freshwater spicules are then massaged and pressed into the skin for about 5mins.This step smooths rough texture, reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, decongests pores and kickstarts rejuvenation from within. It feels like a micro- exfoliation using fine sandpaper with a prickly sensation.
A calm and cooling pearl sheet mask is applied infused with mineral-rich glacial water, hydrating proteins, and soothing botanicals. The treatment is then completed with a customised layering of targeted serums and creams designed to enhance skin health and lock in the glow.

Is there any down time?
As the spicules are expected to stay in the skin for upto 48hrs, the skin can feel a little sensitive to touch and some redness can appear in the first 24hrs. By day 2 you are able to wear makeup. Day 3 you might have some skin flaking, by day 5 you start seeing a much clearer almost glassy skin complexion
